Environmental Division

The Environmental Division designs, manufactures, shop tests, starts up, and services standard and custom thermal and catalytic oxidizer systems used for site remediation. These standard catalytic oxidizers and thermal oxidizers are skid mounted to minimize field installation and are available for rental or purchase. The catalytic oxidizers can be electric heated or fuel gas fired. The thermal oxidizers are fired on either natural gas or propane.

These projects include:

• soil vapor extraction
• dual phase and multi-phase extraction
• groundwater pump and treat
• air stripper projects

Contaminants frequently include BTEX, MTBE, and TBA. Catalytic Combustion offers electric and fuel gas fired oxidizer designs in a wide range of capacity.

Custom Designed Air Pollution Control Systems

There are custom designed systems for high concentration sites (excellent for rapid response situations or pipeline projects) and systems for chlorinated/fluorinated contaminants. Many systems include a heat exchanger to minimize energy costs.

Product Choices

We have a broad range of choices to allow the client to select the best fit. The electric catalytic oxidizer is a preferred economical choice to activated carbon when concentrations are greater than a nominal level. The equipment is flexibly designed to allow conversion to thermal and catalytic mode so that the same system can be used for the life of the remediation project.

Oxidizer packages for rent or purchase

Catalytic Combustion oxidizer packages are available for rental or purchase. The control panels are UL 508 certified and the skids can be third party certified. Our oxidizer equipment is designed with quality built in and provides reliable operation with a high up-time factor.
