Interesting work in your field:
- Ensure timely and efficient deployment of technicians to service calls.
- Review and approve expense reports and timecards for Service Technicians.
- Oversee customer orders and work orders as they relate to the service department
- Manage parts and service inventory transactions both on and offsite.
- Generate quotes and estimates for service work.
- Coordinate site inspections and pre-planning for service trips to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Offer technical support and problem-solving assistance to technicians in the field.
- Cross-train to assist other product lines during peak times
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, share best practices, and address any concerns.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated service issues, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
Your skills should include:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Three + years of service experience.
- Electrical and/or mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with and assist sales, engineering, and production staff.
- Advanced computer skills and experience with MS Office programs.
- Ability to handle escalated service issues effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
